Do you live in a house or a flat?
I live in a house with my parents. It’s a pretty typical family home, I’d say—not huge, but definitely big enough for the three of us. It’s in a fairly quiet neighborhood, which I really like, and there are a few shops and cafés just around the corner.
Which is your favorite room?
Definitely my bedroom. I mean, it’s probably the one place in the house where I can shut the door and have some privacy. I’ve got my computer, a decent speaker setup, and pretty much everything I need in there, so I tend to spend a lot of my free time in it.
Can you describe it?
Yeah, sure. It’s a fairly simple room, but it’s quite cozy. There’s a bed against one wall, a desk by the window, and a wardrobe that takes up far too much space. I’ve also got a few posters and some photos on the walls. It’s not exactly Instagram-worthy, but it feels like my space, which is what matters.
How long have you lived there?
Pretty much all my life, actually. My parents moved there when I was very young, so I don’t really remember living anywhere else. I suppose that’s why I’m quite attached to the place. There are loads of little memories there, even things like having friends over when I was a kid.
What do you like most about it?
Probably how comfortable it is. It’s not the kind of house that looks particularly impressive from the outside, but once you’re inside, it feels really homely. And I like having a bit of outdoor space as well. In the warmer months, I sometimes sit in the garden in the evening and just listen to music.
Can you describe the view from your windows?
From my bedroom window, I can see our back garden and a few of the houses further down the street. There are quite a lot of trees around, so it’s actually quite nice, especially in the morning. It’s obviously not some amazing city skyline, but I’d take trees and greenery over a wall of concrete any day.
If you could improve one thing about your home, what would it be?
Hmm, probably the kitchen. It’s a little cramped, especially when more than one person is trying to use it at the same time. I’d love to have a bit more counter space. My mum would probably agree with that, actually.
Do you plan to live there in the future?
I’m not really sure, to be honest. I’m happy living there at the moment, and there’s no particular reason for me to move out right now. But at some point, I’d like to have my own place and experience what it’s like to live independently. I just don’t feel the need to rush into it.

Do you live in a house or a flat?
I currently live in a rented flat on the third floor of a fairly modern building. It’s quite compact, but it really suits my lifestyle at the moment since it’s just me and my cat. I also like that everything I need is pretty close by.
Which is your favorite room?
Honestly, I’d have to say the living area. The whole flat is open-plan, so the living room basically flows into the kitchen, but I’ve created a little corner by the window with my sofa and a few plants. It’s probably the coziest spot in the whole flat, so I tend to spend quite a lot of time there.
Can you describe it?
Sure. I’ve got a comfortable L-shaped sofa by the window, a couple of bookshelves, and probably more houseplants than I actually need. There’s also a little side table where I usually keep my coffee or a book. I’ve painted one of the walls a soft sage green, which I really like. It’s not particularly fancy, but it feels very much like my own space.
How long have you lived there?
I’ve been living there for just over two years now. I moved in shortly after finishing my degree, and it actually felt like home pretty quickly. I think having my own place for the first time made a big difference. I really enjoyed being able to decorate it exactly how I wanted.
What do you like most about it?
Probably the location. It’s on a fairly quiet residential street, so it’s peaceful, but there are loads of cafés and little shops just a few minutes away. There’s this café I really like where I often grab a matcha in the morning, so that’s become part of my routine.
Can you describe the view from your windows?
The main window in the living area looks out onto a shared courtyard. There’s a huge oak tree right outside, which is especially nice in autumn when the leaves change color. I also get quite a lot of natural light, so I’m pretty happy with the view. It’s not exactly a city skyline, but I prefer having some greenery outside.
If you could improve one thing about your home, what would it be?
Oh, definitely the bathroom. It’s quite small and a little dated, so I’d love to give it a complete makeover. If I could change anything, I’d probably replace the shower with a proper bathtub. I love the idea of having a long bath at the end of a busy day.
Do you plan to live there in the future?
Probably not forever. I really like the flat, and it’s perfect for me at the moment, but eventually I’d like somewhere with a little more outdoor space. Ideally, I’d love a small balcony or even a tiny garden, mainly because my cat would love having somewhere safe to sit outside. But for now, I’m quite happy where I am.
