Do you often look at yourself in the mirror?
Yeah, pretty much every day. I usually have a quick look in the morning before I leave for university, just to make sure my hair isn’t a complete mess and that my clothes look okay. Other than that, I don’t really spend much time checking my appearance.
How often do you use a mirror?
I’d say several times a day, although I don’t really think about it. I use the bathroom mirror when I’m getting ready in the morning, and sometimes I’ll check my appearance before going out with friends. It’s just become part of my daily routine.
Do you usually look in the mirror before going out?
Yeah, almost always. I don’t stand there for ages or anything, but I normally take a few seconds to check my hair and make sure there’s nothing obviously wrong with my appearance. Especially if I’m going somewhere important, I’ll probably take a slightly closer look.
Do you have a mirror in your bedroom?
Yes, I do. There’s a fairly large one on the wall next to my wardrobe, which is really convenient because I can see what my whole outfit looks like. I probably use it every morning when I’m getting ready.
What kind of mirror do you like?
I prefer large, simple mirrors, ideally ones that show your whole body. I don’t really care about fancy designs, so I’d rather have something modern and minimalistic. I think a big mirror also makes a room feel more spacious, which is a nice bonus.
Do you think mirrors are important in our daily lives?
Definitely. They’re useful for obvious reasons, like checking your appearance, but I think they also serve a practical purpose in homes. For example, a well-placed mirror can make a small room look bigger and brighter. So I’d say they’re more useful than people tend to realize.
Have you ever bought a mirror?
Yeah, actually. I bought one when I moved into my current apartment because there wasn’t a proper full-length mirror. I didn’t want to spend much money on it, so I just got a fairly basic one online. It does the job perfectly well, though.
Do you think people spend too much time looking at themselves in mirrors?
Some people probably do, especially if they’re really concerned about their appearance. Personally, I think there’s nothing wrong with checking yourself occasionally, but spending ten or twenty minutes constantly adjusting your hair or clothes seems a bit excessive. I suppose social media has also made people more conscious of how they look.
When you were a child, did you often look in the mirror?
Not particularly. I think I used mirrors mainly when my parents were helping me get ready for school or when I was brushing my teeth. I certainly wasn’t as conscious of my appearance as I am now. Looking back, I probably didn’t care what I looked like at all as long as I could go outside and play.

Do you often look at yourself in the mirror?
Probably more than I’d like to admit, honestly! Like most people my age, I’ll take a quick glance whenever I pass one, just to make sure my hair isn’t doing anything strange or that I don’t have something stuck in my teeth.
How often do you use a mirror?
Multiple times a day, for sure. It’s part of my morning routine when I’m doing my skincare or getting ready, and then throughout the day, I might check a compact mirror or a bathroom mirror just to touch up my makeup before a meeting or catching up with friends.
Do you usually look in the mirror before going out?
Always. It’s pretty much second nature at this point. I just do a quick once-over to check my outfit, make sure my clothes aren’t wrinkled, and make sure I look presentable before I head out.
Do you have a mirror in your bedroom?
I do, yeah. I have a full-length one hanging on the back of my bedroom door. It’s super handy because it lets me see my full outfit from head to toe before I leave, and it also makes the room feel a bit brighter and more spacious.
What kind of mirror do you like?
I really like minimalist, arched mirrors with thin brass or black frames. They look sleek and stylish without cluttering up a room. Functionally, though, I prefer large, full-length ones because they’re just so practical for putting outfits together.
Do you think mirrors are important in our daily lives?
Definitely. Beyond obvious practical uses—like grooming, shaving, or applying makeup—they also play a huge role in interior design. They bounce light around a room and make tight spaces feel much larger, so they’re both practical and decorative.
Have you ever bought a mirror?
Yes, actually! When I moved into my current apartment, I picked up a full-length floor mirror online. It was a bit tricky to get up the stairs, but it was definitely worth it since my room didn’t come with one built-in.
Do you think people spend too much time looking at themselves in mirrors?
Some people definitely do, especially with social media making everyone a bit more self-conscious about their appearance. But for most people, I think it’s just a normal tool for self-grooming rather than pure vanity.
When you were a child, did you often look in the mirror?
Not really, no. Back then, I was way too busy playing or running around to care about how I looked. I think kids only really use mirrors for silly things, like making funny faces at themselves, rather than actually checking their reflection.
