You should say who he or she is, when and where you listen to his or her music or singing, what kind of music or songs he or she is good at, and how it makes you feel when listening to him or her.

The person I’d like to talk about is a childhood friend named David. We’ve known each other since we were little, and one thing that’s always stood out about him is his love for music and his incredible ear for melody.

I usually hear him sing when we’re just hanging out at home or in quiet places, like during study sessions or when we’re walking to the park. He’s the kind of person who doesn’t need an audience—he’ll quietly hum or sing to himself while doing something else. Over the years, I’ve realised that even in the simplest moments, his voice adds a kind of calm and warmth to the environment.

He’s particularly good at soft, emotional songs, especially acoustic or indie tracks that are rich in lyrics. His singing isn’t flashy, but it’s very expressive, and he has this way of making a song feel personal and intimate. You can tell he really connects to the music rather than just performing it.

Listening to him sing makes me feel calm, reflective, and even a little nostalgic. It reminds me of all the times we spent growing up together and creates a comforting sense of continuity, like some things in life don’t really change. Even when I’m stressed or distracted, hearing his voice naturally draws my attention and makes me feel grounded. For me, his singing is not about entertainment—it’s about presence, memory, and the quiet joy of sharing music with someone you care about.

Alright, so I’d like to talk about a friend of mine named Sarah. We’ve known each other since high school, and she’s always been the musical one in our group.

To be honest, I’m not really a huge music enthusiast. I usually just listen to whatever’s trending on Spotify or playing in the background while I’m at the gym. Sarah, on the other hand, is completely different — she genuinely has a strong talent for singing. I usually hear her sing at parties or whenever we end up doing karaoke, which has kind of become our go-to activity on weekends.

She mostly sings mainstream pop, which works well for me since I know the lyrics. She’s especially good at big, catchy songs that everyone can sing along to. What really stands out is her ability to hit the high notes so effortlessly — sometimes people genuinely stop and ask if it’s actually her singing.

Whenever I hear her sing, I mostly feel impressed, but also a bit inspired. Like I said, music isn’t really my thing, so seeing someone I’ve known for so long have that level of skill is pretty amazing. It’s also a real mood booster. If we’re out somewhere and she starts singing along to a song, it instantly lifts the atmosphere and makes everything feel more fun and energetic. Honestly, it’s just nice having a friend who can turn a boring car ride into a mini concert, even if I’m stuck in the passenger seat, completely failing to keep the beat.
