What is your favourite colour, and why do you like it?

I’d probably say navy blue. I’ve always liked it, although I’m not entirely sure why. I think it’s because it looks quite classy without being too attention-grabbing. Most of my clothes are some shade of blue, so it’s a colour I naturally end up choosing.

Are there any colours that you dislike? Why?

I wouldn’t say I hate any colour, but I’m not a huge fan of really bright neon colours. They can be a bit too intense for me, especially if there’s a lot of them in one place. I generally prefer colours that are a bit more subtle and easy on the eyes.

Do you prefer bright colours or dark colours? Why?

Definitely darker colours. I just find them easier to wear and easier to match with other things. Bright colours can look great, but they’re not really my style. Most of the time I go for black, navy, or dark grey because they look quite smart and never really go out of fashion.

What colours do you usually wear?

Mostly neutral colours like black, white, grey, and navy blue. I don’t really spend a lot of time thinking about fashion, so I tend to stick to colours that work with everything. Every now and then I’ll wear something brighter, but that’s pretty rare.

What was your favourite colour when you were a child?

When I was a kid, it was definitely red. I think I associated it with fast cars, superheroes, and all the things I was interested in back then. Looking back, it was probably more about what the colour represented than the colour itself.

Are there any colours that are popular in your country?

Yeah, I’d say neutral colours are probably the most popular, especially when it comes to clothing. You see a lot of people wearing black, white, and grey because they’re practical and easy to match. Trends change all the time, of course, but those colours always seem to stay popular.

What’s the difference between men’s and women’s colour preferences?

From what I’ve noticed, women tend to be more open to a wider range of colours, whereas men often stick to the basics like black, blue, or grey. Obviously that’s not true for everyone, but it does seem to be a general pattern. I think a lot of it comes down to culture and the way people are brought up.

Do you think colours can affect a person’s mood?

Yeah, I think they can. For example, bright colours often make a place feel more lively and energetic, while softer colours can make it feel more relaxing. I don’t think colours completely change your mood, but they can definitely influence how you feel.

Do you think the colours of advertisements influence people’s decisions?

Absolutely. Even if people don’t realise it, colours can have quite a big impact. Certain colours can make a product seem more exciting, trustworthy, or expensive. Companies spend a lot of money on branding, so I think colour choice is definitely something they take seriously.

Is colour an important factor when you buy clothes or other products? Why or why not?

Yeah, it is. In fact, colour is usually one of the first things I notice. If I don’t like the colour, I’m probably not going to buy the product, even if everything else is fine. That said, things like quality and price are still more important in the end. Colour just helps narrow down my choices.

What is your favourite colour, and why do you like it?

I’ve always loved sky blue. There’s just something really fresh and calming about it. It reminds me of clear summer days, which always puts me in a good mood. I also think it’s a very easy colour to live with, whether that’s in clothes or around the house, because it brightens things up without being too bold.

Are there any colours that you dislike? Why?

I wouldn’t say I hate any colour, but I’m not really a fan of dull grey shades. They just feel a bit gloomy to me, especially on rainy days. Of course, grey can look really stylish in some situations, but if everything is grey, I find it a little depressing.

Do you prefer bright colours or dark colours? Why?

I’d say bright colours, without a doubt. I just find them a lot more cheerful and uplifting. Dark colours can look nice, of course, but if there’s too much of them, they can make a space or even an outfit feel a bit dull. I generally prefer colours that make things feel more lively.

What colours do you usually wear?

Most of the time, I wear fairly neutral colours, but I like adding a bit of colour here and there. For example, I might wear white jeans or a beige top and then add something brighter, like a pastel yellow cardigan or a blue scarf. I think it keeps things interesting without looking over the top.

What was your favourite colour when you were a child?

Definitely purple. I was obsessed with it when I was younger. I wanted everything to be purple—my notebooks, my clothes, even my bedroom decorations. Looking back, it’s quite funny because I don’t wear much purple anymore, but at the time I thought it was the best colour in the world.

Are there any colours that are popular in your country?

Yeah, definitely. Neutral colours like beige, cream, and white never seem to go out of style, especially when it comes to clothes and home decor. Lately, though, I’ve noticed more earthy colours as well, things like sage green and terracotta. They seem to be everywhere at the moment.

What’s the difference between men’s and women’s colour preferences?

I think it’s probably less noticeable now than it used to be, but there are still some differences. From what I’ve seen, men often stick to colours like black, navy, or grey, whereas women tend to experiment a bit more with different shades and combinations. Obviously that doesn’t apply to everyone, but that’s the general impression I get.

Do you think colours can affect a person’s mood?

Oh, definitely. I think it happens without people even realising it sometimes. Bright colours can make a place feel more energetic and welcoming, while darker colours can create a calmer atmosphere. Whenever I’m in a bright, colourful space, I usually feel more positive and motivated.

Do you think the colours of advertisements influence people’s decisions?

Absolutely. Companies spend a lot of time thinking about their branding, and colour is a huge part of that. Certain colours create certain impressions. For example, green is often linked to nature and sustainability, while red tends to grab people’s attention. Even if we don’t notice it consciously, I think colours definitely affect how we see products.

Is colour an important factor when you buy clothes or other products? Why or why not?

Yes, I’d say it is. Colour is usually one of the first things I notice when I’m shopping. If I really don’t like the colour, I’m probably not going to buy something, even if it’s good quality. That said, it’s not the only thing that matters. I’d still pay more attention to things like quality, comfort, or practicality before making a final decision.
