What kind of clothes do you usually wear?

I usually go for casual and practical clothes, like jeans, T-shirts, and hoodies. As a university student, comfort is really important to me since I’m often moving between classes or studying for long hours. I don’t put too much effort into styling every day, but I still try to look neat and put-together.

Do you prefer comfortable clothes or fashionable clothes?

Definitely comfortable clothes. I think there’s no point in wearing something trendy if you feel uncomfortable in it. That said, I try to find a balance—something that looks decent but still feels easy to wear throughout the day.

Where do you buy most of your clothes? Why?

I usually buy my clothes from affordable brands or online stores. As a student, I’m on a budget, so I tend to look for places that offer good value for money. Online shopping is also really convenient because I can compare prices and styles quickly.

How often do you buy new clothes for yourself? Why?

I’d say I buy new clothes every couple of months. It’s not something I do regularly unless I actually need something, like replacing worn-out items or buying seasonal clothes. I try to avoid spending too much on clothing.

What is your favorite item of clothing?

My favorite item is probably a simple hoodie. It’s really versatile—I can wear it to class, when hanging out with friends, or even just relaxing at home. Plus, it’s comfortable and easy to match with almost anything.

How do you decide which clothes to buy?

I usually consider three things: comfort, price, and whether it suits my style. I don’t follow fashion trends closely, so I just go for items that I feel confident wearing. If something is practical and fits well, I’m more likely to buy it.

Do you like wearing bright colors or neutral colors? Why?

I prefer neutral colors like black, white, or gray. They’re easier to match and give a more simple and clean look. Bright colors can be nice, but I feel they’re a bit harder to style for everyday wear.

Have the kinds of clothes you like changed in recent years? Why or why not?

Yes, they have. When I was younger, I used to choose clothes mainly based on appearance, but now I care more about comfort and practicality. I think this change came naturally as my daily routine became busier at university.

Do you prefer shopping for clothes online or in stores?

I prefer shopping online because it’s more convenient and usually offers more variety. However, I still go to physical stores sometimes, especially when I want to check the fit or quality before buying.

Are clothes important to you? Why or why not?

They’re important to some extent. I think clothes can influence first impressions, so I try to dress appropriately. But at the same time, I don’t see them as the most important thing—I care more about comfort and practicality than making a strong fashion statement.

What kind of clothes do you usually wear?

Honestly, I’m all about being casual. Most days you’ll just find me in a pair of baggy jeans and a simple cropped top or a hoodie. I’m a big fan of the “effortless” look, so I usually just throw on some trainers and maybe a couple of gold chains to make it look like I actually put some thought into it.

Do you prefer comfortable clothes or fashionable clothes?

You know, I’d love to say I’m all about comfort, but if I’m being totally honest, I’m definitely guilty of choosing fashion over function more often than I probably should. Like, I’ll wear a pair of boots that look amazing even if I know they’re going to give me blisters by the end of the night, or a structured coat that’s actually quite stiff just because it creates such a cool silhouette. I think for me, the way an outfit makes me feel mentally—you know, that boost of confidence—usually outweighs the physical discomfort.

Where do you buy most of your clothes? Why?

It’s a bit of a mix, really. I do pop into high-street shops like Zara occasionally, but I’ve actually been getting really into thrifting lately. There’s this local vintage market near me where I find the coolest oversized jackets and stuff. It’s cheaper, and it feels a bit better knowing I’m not just buying more mass-produced stuff.

How often do you buy new clothes for yourself? Why?

Not that often, actually. Maybe once every couple of months? I’m not the type to go on a massive shopping spree every payday. I usually just wait until I feel like my wardrobe needs a bit of a refresh, or if I have a specific event coming up, like a birthday or a wedding.

What is your favorite item of clothing?

Probably my worn-in denim jacket. I’ve had it for years and it literally goes with everything. It’s reached that point where the denim is perfectly soft, and I feel like it just adds a bit of “edge” to whatever I’m wearing. I’d be pretty gutted if I ever lost it.

How do you decide which clothes to buy?

I’m still a bit of an impulse buyer, especially when I see a bold color I love, but I’m much more disciplined now. I’ll look at the price tag and the fabric and ask, ‘Will I actually wear this in a year?’ If I can’t imagine wearing it to grab coffee or styling it with my vintage jackets, I’ll try my best to leave it on the rack

Do you like wearing bright colors or neutral colors? Why?

I’m definitely a ‘bright colors’ person. My wardrobe is pretty much a rainbow—lots of electric blues, hot pinks, and vibrant oranges. I just feel like neutrals can be a bit drab and boring sometimes, whereas a bold color really reflects my personality and perks up my mood. Plus, if I’m honest, I love being that person who stands out a bit in a crowd rather than just blending into the background in beige or grey.

Have the kinds of clothes you like changed in recent years? Why or why not?

Yeah, definitely. I used to buy tons of cheap, skinny jeans just because they were ‘in,’ but now I’m much more into baggy, timeless silhouettes and better fabrics. My taste has matured; I’d rather have one really well-made hoodie or jacket that lasts for years than a bunch of fast-fashion stuff that falls apart in the wash

Do you prefer shopping for clothes online or in stores?

I’m definitely an “in-store” kind of person. I’ve been burned too many times by online shopping—ordering something that looks amazing on the model but looks like a potato sack when it actually arrives. I need to be able to try things on and see the fit before I commit to buying them.

Are clothes important to you? Why or why not?

Oh, for sure, clothes are huge for me. Even though my style is technically casual, I’ll still spend ages picking out the right pieces to make sure the colors and fit are just right. To me, clothes aren’t just things you throw on to stay warm—they’re a part of my identity. Since I love bold colors, what I wear is basically how I show my personality before I even open my mouth. I just feel more like ‘me’ when I’ve put that bit of effort into my look
